New patients
Depending on the treatment you require for your condition, you may need to meet with more than one physician in the Cerebrovascular Disease 和 中风 Program.
Your primary care physician (PCP) can make a referral to the appropriate section by contacting the Physician 连接ion Center.
Please refer to your appointment letter for details on where you need to go for your appointment. In general, you will report to 3 c水平 for neurology 和 neurosurgery-type appointments, 和 report to 3级l for radiology-type appointments.

To refer a patient to the Cerebrovascular Disease 和 中风 Program, contact the Physician 连接ion Center. If you need to consult with us directly, call us at the appropriate number.
Each specialty sees patients for the corresponding listed conditions:
- Cerebrovascular surgery: Aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations 和 fistulas, carotid artery stenosis 和 occlusion, cavernous malformations, Moya-Moya syndrome, spinal cord vascular lesions
- Interventional neuroradiology: Carotid-cavernous fistulas, dural arteriovenous fistulas, epistaxis, intracranial atherosclerosis 和 stenosis, tumors of the brain, head, 脖子, 和 spine
- 中风: Acute stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke, TIA (transient ischemic attack)

Referring PFO patients
A strong collaboration between Interventional Cardiology 和 Neurology has allowed us to be involved in patent foramen ovale (PFO) clinical trials for several years.
病人 referred for possible PFO closure are evaluated by both services, assuring that patients undergo a comprehensive evaluation 和 the most appropriate treatment decisions can be made. To refer a patient, please call the 中风 Referrals number.
